Polar is visiting the library during Spring Break! Sign up for a 15-minute session to read and cuddle with Polar. One session per family. Registration is required. Spring Scavenger Hunt
Stop in anytime Monday, March 25 through Thursday, March 28 to hunt for signs of Spring in the library! Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet, find and check off all the pictures, and turn it in for a prize! Geared for ages 3 -10 but all ages are welcome to participate. No registration required.
Read to Casey & Maggie
Casey and Maggie are trained therapy dogs ready to listen to your child read! Families can sign up for one 15-minute slot to read to Casey & Maggie on Friday, March 22 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm. Cooking with Class w/ Staci Joers
Class is FULL. Join us for a Friends of Waterford Public Library fundraiser on Thursday, March 21st from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm! Chef Staci Joers will cook a few classic French and Italian recipes tweaked for an American home. Not only will you taste the final product, but also take home the recipes with tips from Staci. The cost is $30.00 per person. Please pay by either cash or check, and checks are to be made out to Friends of Waterford Public Library. Register by calling (262) 534-3988 or stopping by the library. Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Teens in 6th – 12th grade are invited to join Teen Advisory Board! Earn volunteer hours, meet other teens, discuss teen library topics, and have snacks too! TAB meets once a month through the end of the school year. The next meeting is on Monday, March 18 at 3:30 pm. Please stop in or visit the teen tab on our website for a TAB application. It’s a Tween Thing… Sandwiches with a Twist!
Tweens ages 9 – 12 and young teens, sign up for sandwich-making fun on Wednesday, March 13 at 4:30 pm! Create a sandwich snack using a variety of ingredients and hang out with other kids your age. Registration required.
