Genealogy 102 and Overview Genealogy Class
This class continues your exploration of your family ancestry. Seasoned genealogist Judy Gambrel has 20 years’ experience in the research of her own family history. In these classes, Judy demonstrates how to go about land research and discuss using resources at the Church of Latter Day Saints, the National Archives, the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution, Roots web, and other research options. Students should have some experience with genealogy research. If you don’t have any experience in genealogical research, please try to attend the overview class offered right before this class at 5:00pm. Judy shares her valuable insight and experience to help you in your quest. August 23 at 5:00pm for overview class and 6:00pm for Genealogy 102. Making a Difference
Carrie Reichartz will talk about the similarities and differences between the US and Kenya in shoes, clothing, housing, water, shopping, schools and more. She will also bring toys and other items from Kenya to share. She is asking for donations of new or gently used shoes to bring on her next trip. The program is geared for preschool and elementary age kids. Interesting and fun! Wednesday, August 17 at 10:00am.
