Local brain guru George Barry returns to discuss how we see the world. Do you ever think of the world in terms of “us” versus “them”? You are not alone! All children under 6 are invited to join us in the library’s community room for stories and songs celebrating the upcoming Summer Reading Program! No registration required. Wednesday, May 16 at 10:00am.

Betty Adelman from Heritage Flower Farm will introduce us to heirloom flowers, or “plants with a past,” as she calls them. She’ll show off flowers from the dawn of history, the Europe of Elizabeth I, and make her way to America to cover those treasured by the Ho Chunk, Menominee, and
Navajo. These are plants with stories, tales of discovery, and wildlife values.  This class is free! Please register to attend.
