Fighting Dementia and the Aging Brain

Popular brain expert, George Barry, joins us at the library to talk about ways to prevent cognitive decline and fight dementia. These aren’t inevitable aspects of aging! Attend to learn more about how you can keep your mind healthy and active.

Book Club

Book Club meets to read and discuss books of all genres. Call or stop in to reserve your spot and join the lively group at 5:30 pm in the Community Room. Featured titles are available each month in a variety of formats: Kindle, audiobook, or printed book. This months book is Born a Crime by Trevor Noah.

Building Blocks Storytime

Linda Breuer hosts Building Blocks Storytime for preschool families. Books and musical activities will engage parents and children ages 0 – 5.

 

 

 

Teen Advisory Board (TAB)

Saturday, September 22 from 10:00-11:00 am
Teens in grades 6-12 who have great ideas, love books, and are looking for volunteer opportunities are encouraged to join. TAB meetings will be one Saturday a month throughout the school year.  Anyone interested may stop by the library for an application. Adult Afternoon Movie
