You can read to Piper on Thursday, October 19 from 4:00-5:00pm. Piper is a trained therapy dog ready to listen to your child read! Individual children and/or families can sign up for one 15-minute block of time. Register on the Programs & Events page of the library’s website.

This free class on Monday, October 16 at 2:00pm is for the more experienced yoga enthusiast, or for beginners looking to stretch their limits. Instructed by Rachel Juergens. Registration is required.

Alphabet Lab and Alphabet Lab On-the-Go will be on Fridays, October 6, 13, and 20 at 9:30 am.

The Waterford Library will be closed on Monday, October 9th for a staff training day. We will reopen on Tuesday, October 10th at 9:00 a.m.

If you enjoy paper crafts, bring your work-in-progress and join us each month! The Scrapbook Club meets on Tuesday, October 3 from 9:30am-3:30pm.

Happy Teen-tober at the library! Teens ages 13 – 18 are eligible to play Bookmark Bingo! Here’s how:

–Pick up a Bingo Bookmark at the Circulation Desk or Information Desk.
–Check out items on the Bingo Bookmark and have a librarian stamp each space that matches an item. Once you make a “Bingo” by getting 3 stamps up & down, across OR diagonally, turn in your Bingo Bookmark for a prize!
–Play as often as you want between October 2 – 31!
