Our Loose Ends Animal Hospital is here to help! Bring in your stuffed animal friend to the Community Room anytime between 10 am and noon, and the Loose Ends Sewing Group “nurses” will perform some of the following services:
-“Stitches”
-Healthy Check-up
-Simple Eyes or Nose “mending”
-“Boo-Boo” bandaging
While the “patient” is being cared for, go on a scavenger hunt to find all 8 colorful teddy bear pictures!
Pick up your stuffed animal friend, a certificate of health and a lollipop when the checkup is complete! Geared for ages 6 & under.

The last two in person classes are on Fridays, May 10 & 17 at 9:30am. Take home bags are available on Fridays, May 10 & 17 starting at 9:00am.
Community Input Sessions: Shape Our Future!
Attend one of three opportunities (Tuesday, 5/21 at 10:00 & 5:00 or Thursday, 5/23 at 2:00) to provide input and ideas that will help us create the best path for utilizing our library’s programming and operative abilities while considering current and future funding. This is an independent brainstorming walk-through, answering key questions provided by the library and its board. Library board members will be available for assistance.
Little Bookworms: Story Adventures
Stories and songs full of adventures on Thursday, May 9 at 9:30 am! Appropriate for ages 5 and under with a caregiver. Registration is required.
Adult Gentle Yoga
Enjoy the art of meditation and yoga at the library on Monday, May 13 at 2:00 pm. Registration is required.
Teen Cell Phone Photography Class with Lauren Kerwin
This engaging 90-minute class on Monday, May 6 from 4:30-6:00 pm will encourage and inspire you to take better pictures. From exposure to editing, we will talk about clever composition concepts to cropping and color correction. Learn about light and get ready to capture creative content with your cell phone this summer! Ages 12 – 17. Registration is required.
Book Club
Join us for this month’s book discussion of Empire of Pain by Patrick Radden Keefe on Wednesday, April 24 at 5:30 pm. Registration is required. Books are available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.
Homeschool Out & About
Homeschool families are invited to join the Mukwonago Area Homeschool Group in Waterford Library’s Community Room for a chance to socialize and work together on Wednesday, April 24 from 12:30-2:30pm. All ages are welcome.
Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Teens in 6th – 12th grade are invited to join Teen Advisory Board! Earn volunteer hours, meet other teens, discuss teen library topics, and have snacks too! TAB meets on Monday, April 22 at 3:30 pm. Preschool Workshop: Spring on the Farm
Join us for self-guided sensory play that will have you exploring and creating on Thursday, April 18 at 9:30 am! Sort, splash, wiggle and create with farm-themed activities this month. Note: Some activities may be messy! Geared for ages 6 and under with a caregiver. Registration is required.
