Our therapy dogs love the library! All ages and abilities are welcome to sign up for a 15-minute slot to read or cuddle with Polar, a therapy dog on Wednesday, November 27 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am.

Join yoga instructor Rachel Juergens in the art of yoga and meditation at the library on Monday, November 25 at 2:00 pm! All fitness levels are welcome. Registration is required for each class. 

Stop by the library to purchase your handmade Christmas gifts. There will be crafts, art, estate jewelry, holiday decor, and more on Thursday, November 21 & Friday, November 22 from 10:00am-4:30pm! This event is run by Loose Ends Sewing Club as part of Christmas in the Village in Waterford, but will not be open on Saturday.

Wanted: Motivated and dedicated teens in grades 6 through 12 who are looking for volunteer hours and are interested in the library. This month’s TAB meeting will consist of decorating the library’s giant Christmas Tree on Tuesday, November 19 at 3:30 pm! No registration required. Challenge yourself to Picture Sudoku! Tweens and teens ages 10 and up are invited to participate in this passive activity offered during library hours the week of November 18 – 23. Win a prize! Visit the Info desk at the library for details.

Dinosaurs are loose in the library! Hunt for all 10 dinosaurs hiding in the stacks the week of November 18-23 and receive a prize! Geared for ages 3 – 10. No registration required.

Join us for this self-guided sensory play that will have you exploring and creating on Monday, November 18 at 9:30 am! Dig, dust, stack and sift with dinosaur-themed activities this month. Some activities may be messy! Geared for ages 6 and under with a caregiver. Registration is required.

Join us for an in-person exploration of the alphabet! This program is geared for children 2 1/2 to 4 years-old with an adult. Each week, we will study one letter and learn how to sign it in American Sign Language, play and move using letter sounds, and more! Children will leave with a practice packet to work on recognizing each letter. Registration is required in person. Regular attendance is expected.
